Tim Nichols – Owner/Designer
Tim’s reputation is that of a trusted designer and after 27 years in the business, he is still passionate about his work. He begins the design process by carefully assessing his client’s likes and lifestyle in order to design a space that reflects their own personal needs. With a sixth sense for identifying those specifics, he pays close attention to form and function in order to create a pleasing aesthetic. His attention to proportion, usefulness, color and quality materials have resulted in a long list of happy customers. As one of those satisfied people recently said, “he nailed it on the head!”
Tim earned a BS in Housing & Interiors from Appalachian State University, and was a successful independent interior designer here in Winston-Salem for many years. His work has appeared in numerous publications, and we were fortunate to have him join the team in 2010.
Alex Miller – Kitchen & Bath Designer
Alex first became interested in design in 5th grade after his parents hired a family friend to design the interior of their new home. He was inspired and has been drawing and creating exterior and interior design sketches as a hobby ever since. Alex carried this passion with him to East Carolina University where he earned a Degree in Interior Design.
After joining the Cabinet Studio team last year he was able to start utilizing his true talent for taking a client’s style then mixing it with current trends and concepts to create something that is truly unique and one of a kind. Above all else he wants his clients to have an enjoyable experience where together they are able to find an efficient and creative solution for their space. Alex’s clients have described their experience working with him as a stress free and fun process.
Jennifer Willard – Kitchen & Bath Designer
Jennifer’s love for design started after taking a course in high school, from there she continued with her passion by obtaining an Interior Design degree from Randolph Community College. She’s been working in the design field since 1991 and has been specializing in Kitchen & Bath design since 2005.
Her passion is in the details, by zeroing in on the small things she is able to create truly custom pieces that are often intricate and feature decorative applications and moldings. By tuning into what the client’s style is, as well as their wants and needs she is able to keep organized & focused throughout the process, which makes for a smooth transition through the different stages of the design and installation processes. When she hears from her clients that their finished design is ‘exactly’ what they wanted, she knows her attention to every detail has paid off.
